Project Insights
In this project, we installed a 45 kW diesel standby generator with an automatic Eaton transfer switch to provide backup power for both residential and agricultural operations. The system was designed to supply electricity to a house and two chicken houses during power outages. We installed and buried approximately 100 feet of conduit to the house and an additional 100 feet to the chicken houses, pulling feeder wires through both structures to distribute power efficiently and safely. This installation ensures that both living spaces and critical farm operations stay powered during utility interruptions.
